T7 trading architecture Innovative technology for Xetra and Börse Frankfurt

Xetra, Deutsche Börse Group‘s fully electronic trading venue is based on the modern trading infrastructure T7. This technology is also being used by Eurex Exchange, European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Bombay Stock Exchange among others.

T7 was developed by Deutsche Börse Group and stands for innovative trading systems representing low latency, high throughput and greater flexibility for the participants. With this migration, Xetra is expanding its position as global reference market for German shares and leading market in European ETF trading.

Introduction of T7 Release 13.0

Deutsche Börse Xetra Technology

Deutsche Börse plans to introduce T7 Release 13.0 on 18 November 2024 for the trading venues Xetra and Börse Frankfurt. The simulation period for T7 Release 13.0 is planned to start on 9 September 2024. Please refer to circular 019/2024 for further details.

Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively. Concrete information for the respective incident will be published during the incident via newsboard message
