New theme ETF from HANetf on Xetra: first ETF with a carbon offset

A new exchange traded fund issued by HANetf has been tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.

With the HANetf S&P Global Clean Energy Select HANzeroTM UCITS ETF - Acc, investors participate in the performance of 30 companies from developed and emerging markets around the world, who promote the development of clean energies with their products and services. This includes the production of wind, water, solar, and geothermal energy as well as biofuels and fuel cells.

To achieve climate neutrality, the fund invests in a carbon offset which is acquired in cooperation with South Pole to finance green projects to reduce greenhouse gases.

The weighting of an instrument is limited to a maximum of 4.5 per cent.
