New on Xetra: Two ETFs from WisdomTree with access to metal commodities for the energy transition

Since Tuesday, two new exchange-traded funds issued by WisdomTree have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The WisdomTree Strategic Metals UCITS ETF offers investors access to a basket of commodities made up of exchange-traded metals related to the energy transition. This basket of commodities currently consists of futures contracts on aluminium, sheet metal, cobalt, copper, lithium, nickel, platinum, silver, zinc, and tin. These commodities are related to the energy transition, especially in connection with electric vehicles, power transmission, charging, energy storage, solar and wind energy, and hydrogen production.

The selection and weighting of eachmetal is based on an intensity rating that measures metrics of engagement and growth of each commodity related to energy transition technologies. The maximum weighting of a commodity is 20 per cent.

Investors can also purchase the ETF in the currency-hedged share class.
