New on Xetra: Equity ETF from Invesco with access to companies from the S&P 500 Index in line with climate and sustainability targets

A new exchange-traded fund issued by Invesco has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The Invesco S&P 500 CTB Net Zero Pathway ESG UCITS ETF gives investors access to US companies with high market capitalisation. These companies are selected and weighted to support the transition to a low-carbon and climate-resilient economy. In addition, the ESG score will be increased relative to the main index by removing 20 per cent of the companies with the lowest ESG scores. Companies with controversial business areas such as tobacco, weapons and thermal coal are excluded.

An optimisation approach is also used to minimise deviations in the weighting of components, sectors and industries compared to the main index. The ETF currently comprises 315 US companies.
