New on Xetra: Equity ETF from First Trust offers access to the aerospace and defence sectors

Since Friday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by First Trust has been tradable via Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The First Trust Indxx Global Aerospace & Defence UCITS ETF offers investors direct exposure to around 50 companies in the aerospace and defence sector. The selected companies must carry out their main business activities in one of the following sub-sectors: Advanced Aerospace and Defense (hypersonics, directional energy, space technologies, unmanned aerial vehicles/advanced air mobility, autonomous systems, cybersecurity and C5ISR systems) and traditional aerospace and defense (production of building materials, electronics and telecommunications equipment for aircraft construction).

Among others, the following companies are represented: Rheinmetall AG, Airbus SE, The Boeing Company, Howmet Aerospace and Rolls-Royce Holdings.
