New on Xetra: Equity ETF from BNP Paribas provides access to the European equity market with an active ESG approach

Since Thursday, a new exchange-traded fund from BNP Paribas Asset Management has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The BNP Paribas Easy Sustainable Europe UCITS ETF invests in a portfolio of companies included in the MSCI Europe Index. The ETF uses an active ESG approach to achieve a better ESG profile than the benchmark index.

The active ESG strategy aims to achieve the following results compared to the reference index through targeted security selection: a) exclusion of at least 30 per cent of securities in favour of a higher ESG rating, b) reduction of the carbonfootprint by at least 50 per cent, c) reduction of greenhouse gas intensity and promotion of greater gender diversity in management and control bodies.
