New iShares ETFs on Xetra: high-yield corporate bonds, bonds from development banks and a global low-variance equity portfolio

Since Friday, three new exchange traded funds issued by iShares have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The iShares Edge MSCI World Minimum Volatility UCITS ETF USD (Dist) enables investors to invest directly in large and medium-sized companies from 23 developed markets. Using a minimum variance approach, companies with low volatility are selected to help reduce the risk profile of the overall portfolio.

The iShares USD Development Bank Bonds UCITS ETF EUR Hedged (Acc) enables investors to invest in fixed-interest corporate bonds denominated in US dollars issued by development banks worldwide.. These state-established, supranational institutions promote sustainable projects to expand social and economic structures in developing countries. The index contains bonds with an investment grade rating, a minimum residual term of one year and a minimum outstanding volume of 500 million US dollars. In addition, the share of an issuer in the total portfolio is limited to a maximum of 25 per cent. Investors are hedged against currency risks against the euro.

The iShares USD High Yield Corp Bond ESG UCITS ETF EUR Hedged (Acc) gives investors the opportunity to invest in fixed-interest corporate bonds denominated in US dollars with a sub-investment grade rating. The remaining term to maturity is at least one year and the minimum outstanding volume is USD 250 million. Bonds issued by companies with business risks in emerging markets or those that do not meet the sustainability criteria are excluded. In addition, investors are hedged against currency risks against the euro.
