The new iBonds products are fixed-term bond ETFs that provide investors with access to a diversified portfolio of fixed-rate government or corporate bonds. The maturity of these bonds ends in the year specified in the respective fund name. The maturity date of the ETFs has been set at the end of 2025, 2026, 2027 or 2028. At the end of the term, the ETF units are liquidated and the portfolio value is paid out to the shareholders.

The bonds included in the corporate bond ETFs have an investment grade rating. In addition, an ESG filter is applied. This excludes companies that are active in business areas such as tobacco production, nuclear weapons, production of civilian firearms, controversial weapons or thermal coal.

The iShares iBonds Dec 2025 Term USD Treasury UCITS ETF selects U.S. treasury bills and treasuries with a fixed schedule of coupon payments and an outstanding amount of at least US$1 billion.
