New equity ETFs from BNP Paribas Easy on Xetra: Broadly diversified exposure to climate-friendly companies

Two new exchange-traded funds from BNP Paribas Easy have been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

The BNP Paribas Easy MSCI ACWI SRI S-Series PAB 5% Capped UCITS ETF offers global exposure to companies from industrialised and developing countries that meet high environmental, social and corporate governance standards. The underlying benchmark index fulfils the minimum standards of the Paris Climate Agreement, including in particular the reduction of greenhouse gases by at least 50 per cent compared to the original investment universe of the MSCI ACWI and the achievement of an additional decarbonisation target of at least 7 per cent per year.

According to the best-in-class-approach, only companies with an outstanding ESG rating compared to their sector are selected. Companies whose products have a negative impact on the environment and social structures are excluded. The weighting of a company is limited to 5 per cent.

Two share classes are available to investors here, which differ in terms of hedging exchange rate fluctuations against the US dollar.
