New commodity ETCs from WisdomTree on Xetra: commodity baskets with focus on energy storage solutions and energy transition

Two new exchange-traded commodities (ETCs) issued by WisdomTree are tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Wednesday.

With the WisdomTree Battery Metals, investors can participate in the development of the value of a commodity basket of futures contracts that are used for energy storage solutions by means of batteries. The commodities used include aluminium, gold, copper, nickel, platinum, palladium, silver, and zinc, which are required for electric vehicles, charging stations and energy storage systems, among other things.

The WisdomTree Energy Transition Metals offers investors access to a commodity basket of futures contracts that are used in connection with the energy transition. Energy transition applications include electric vehicle batteries, energy storage and fuel cells, wind power, solar power, and other renewable technologies.
