New active ETF from Fidelity on Xetra: Focus on US dollar-denominated government and government-like bonds from emerging markets
A new exchange-traded fund from Fidelity has been tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.
The Fidelity Sustainable USD EM Bond UCITS ETF-EUR Hedged pursues an active investment strategy based on the JP Morgan ESG EMBI Global Diversified Index. The investment manager invests in a portfolio consisting mainly of USD-denominated floating and fixed-rate debt securities issued by governments and public authorities in emerging markets. Security selection is based on fundamental research and quantitative techniques as well as proprietary ESG ratings.
The fund takes into account a variety of environmental and social indicators, such as CO2 intensity, energy efficiency, biodiversity and human rights.
It is a distributing share class that minimises currency risks against the euro.
