New Equity Index ETF from Global X on Xetra: access to companies from the uranium industry for first time

Since Friday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by Global X is tradable on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt.

The Global X Uranium UCITS ETF gives investors access to companies from the uranium industry for the first time. These include companies that are active in uranium mining and in the production of nuclear components as well as those that offer the corresponding equipment for the uranium and nuclear industry.

Currently, the benchmark index comprises around 50 companies, mainly from the energy, industrial and basic materials sectors, which are based in Canada, Australia, and South Korea.
