New ETF from iShares on Xetra: Diversified investment in European companies

Since Friday, a new exchange-traded fund issued by iShares has been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.


The iShares Core MSCI Europe UCITS ETF gives investors direct access to a broadly diversified portfolio of European companies from 15 developed countries. The 424 companies from various industries cover around 85 per cent of the market capitalisation of the European equity universe. Among the most represented sectors are financials, industrials, healthcare, and consumer goods. The highest regional weightings are in the United Kingdom, France, Switzerland, and Germany.

This is an accumulating share class which has the euro as its base currency.
