New Active ETFs from J.P. Morgan on Xetra: access to US companies with a value and growth approach

Since Thursday, nine new active exchange-traded funds issued by J.P. Morgan Asset Management have been tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.

All nine JPM Active US UCITS ETFs pursue an active investment strategy and invest primarily in US companies with the aim of delivering a performance which exceeds that of the benchmark over the long term. Sustainable criteria are included in the selection of securities.

The first three JPM Active US Equity UCITS ETFs focus on companies that are domiciled in the US or carrying out the majority of their economic activity there. The investment manager takes a bottom-up approach to stock selection, using fundamentals from its own research. In total, the ETF currently holds around 80 stocks in its portfolio. The benchmark is the S&P 500 Index.

The goal of the next three JPM Active US Growth UCITS ETFs is to select US companies with strong earnings growth potential. Particular emphasis is placed on innovation, the ability to create added value and solid financial ratios. In total, the ETF currently holds around 100 stocks in its portfolio. The largest holdings include companies such as Microsoft, Amazon, Apple, and Nvidia. The benchmark is the Russell 1000 Growth Index.

In the case of JPM Active US Value UCITS ETFs, the investment manager takes a value approach and invests in US companies that are undervalued according to its analysis but of high fundamental quality. In total, the ETF currently holds around 150 stocks in its portfolio. Some of the largest holdings are Bank of America, Chevron, Wells Fargo, and Abbvie. The benchmark is the Russell 1000 Value Index.

All ETFs have both an accumulating and a distributing share class in the fund currency, the US dollar, as well as a currency-hedged share class against the euro.
