Focus on thematic ETFs: video games and e-sports as well as telemedicine and digital health
On Thursday, Global X will list two thematic ETFs on Xetra and Börse Frankfurt for the first time.
The Global X Video Games & Esports UCITS ETF gives investors access to companies worldwide that develop or publish video games and offer streaming of video game or e-sports content. Also included are software and console manufacturers as well as owners and operators of the corresponding leagues and teams.
With the Global X Telemedicine & Digital Health UCITS ETF, investors invest in companies worldwide that contribute to the digitalisation of the healthcare sector. Telemedicine encompasses all medical activities in which the patient and the doctor are separated from each other in terms of space or time. In addition, the Solactive Telemedicine & Digital Health Index includes companies that process and analyse medical data. This relates to the treatment of patients, but also to the administrative organisation, such as the search for a suitable doctor, booking appointments, admitting patients to hospital or creating invoices.
