Eric Leupold is Managing Director and Head of Cash Market at Deutsche Börse. He is responsible for the listing and exchange trading of equities, bonds and other securities, and drives pre-IPO growth financing initiatives. Since 2021 he is also a member of the Executive Board of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange and takes over its chair.

From 2019 to 2021, Eric Leupold has headed the corporate venture capital arm of Deutsche Börse, DB1 Ventures. In this position, he was responsible for investments in growth companies that fit or complement the group’s strategy.

During his career, which began at Deutsche Börse in 2009, he has been responsible for various divisions and innovations within the company. From 2018-2019 he was Deputy Head of the department New Markets. Prior to that he headed departments in the area of the pre-IPO and primary market business and founded the Deutsche Börse Venture Network in 2015.

Eric Leupold is Chairman of the Board of Directors of Crypto Finance AG, Crypto Finance (Asset Management) AG, Crypto Finance (Brokerage) AG, Crypto Finance (Infrastructure Services) AG.

Eric completed a degree in business informatics at the University of Applied Sciences of Central Hesse in Gießen, Germany.
