Titel: Dr. Stephanie Lang, Blackrock

Dr. Stephanie Lang is responsible for Continental Europe (ex FraBeLux, Netherlands & Italy) and has been a portfolio strategist since 2013, developing customised and outcome-oriented allocation solutions for clients to support decision-making with a holistic portfolio approach.

In her role, she focuses on specific investment and implementation issues as well as on fundamental strategic allocation approaches to portfolio construction, incorporating quantitative methods such as risk analyses, peer group studies, current research results, market trends or optimisations with the help of capital market assumptions. This is executed across multiple asset classes and structures, and includes  alpha-generating strategies and indexed vehicles such as ETFs.

Stephanie Lang joined BlackRock in 2008. As an Internal Consultant, she supported the Executive Board and the Supervisory Board in the area of Corporate Strategy & Governance and Merger & Acquisition for Germany, Austria and Eastern Europe. Since 2011, she worked as an investment strategist for ETFs on implementation ideas, portfolio analyses and allocation solutions.

After her diploma in business economics (finance, marketing and statistics), which she passed with distinction, she worked as a research assistant at the Chair of Financial Services and Empirical Capital Market Research (University of Regenburg). During this time, she finalised her PhD on Exchange Traded Funds (summa cum laude).
