Macro economical outlook: must the euro zone prepare for weak economic growth in the long term?

The short-term growth forecasts for the global economy are positive; the threat of recession seems to have been overcome, despite the continuing debt row with Greece and geopolitical crises such as the Russia-Ukraine conflict. These risks, however, persist and the expected interest rate turnaround could entail turbulences at the financial markets as well as a slowing of growth. The economical situation continues its course as unpredictable and challenging.

Join the discussion with leading chief economists on reasons for confidence, possible risks and noteworthy market signals.

The best ETF strategies 2016 ‒ Perspectives for stock markets in face of an interest rate turnaround

But what happens when the policy of cheap money is abandoned and the first interest rate increase decision is passed?

Investment experts present the evaluation of the promising regions and economical sectors where an investment in ETFs remains worthwhile and how to behave in times of strong volatility.

Foreign currency and high-yield bonds ‒ A path to higher returns in times of low interest rate policy of the ECB?

In the current low interest rate environment, there are hardly any bonds offering a high degree of security on the one hand and excess return on the other. In the eyes of investors, bond segments with higher returns such as high-yield corporate bonds or foreign currency bonds thus seem especially attractive.

Experts from the ETF sector explain what type of investors are best suited for the asset class and how the default and currency risk can be mitigated through ETFs.
