T7 trading architecture Innovative technology for Xetra and Börse Frankfurt

Xetra, Deutsche Börse Group‘s fully electronic trading venue is based on the modern trading infrastructure T7. This technology is also being used by Eurex Exchange, European Energy Exchange (EEX) and Bombay Stock Exchange among others.

T7 was developed by Deutsche Börse Group and stands for innovative trading systems representing low latency, high throughput and greater flexibility for the participants. With this migration, Xetra is expanding its position as global reference market for German shares and leading market in European ETF trading.

Introduction of T7 Release 12.1

Deutsche Börse Xetra Technology

Deutsche Börse Group will launch Release 12.1 of the T7 trading system on 13 May 2024. The support window will take place on Saturday, 11 May 2024, between 15:00 and 18:00 CEST. Connectivity testing during the support window is strongly recommended for all participants and Multi-Member Service Providers.

The market status window is an indication regarding the current technical availability of the trading system. It indicates whether news board messages regarding current technical issues of the trading system have been published or will be published shortly.

Detailed information about incident communication, market re-opening procedures and best practices for order and trade reconciliation can be found in the chapters 4.2, 4.3 and 4.5, respectively.
