New Ossiam ETFs on Xetra: dynamic sector selection combined with Value Strategy

Since Tuesday, two new Ossiam exchange-traded funds are tradable on Xetra and via the trading venue Börse Frankfurt.

The Ossiam Shiller Barclays CAPE Global Sector Value offers investors access to the global sector selection strategy, which aims to identify undervalued sectors by using the Shiller price-earnings ratio (CAPE ratio).

The CAPE ratio is a cyclically adjusted price-to-earnings ratio and is the result of the share price divided by the ten-year average earnings adjusted for inflation. This valuation ratio is used to identify undervalued companies and is extended here to equity sectors.

On a monthly rotation, the five most undervalued sectors are selected based on the relative CAPE ratio. The sector with the lowest momentum is also excluded. The remaining four sectors are then equally weighted.

Ossiam offers the ETF to investors in the Euro and USD share classes.
