New thematic ETFs from Xtrackers on Xetra: broadly diversified investments with a focus on three UN sustainability goals

Since Thursday, three new exchange-traded funds issued by Xtrackers are tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.

With the new ETFs, investors can invest in a portfolio of large, medium-sized, and small companies that contribute to the ninth, eleventh or twelfth Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

The Xtrackers MSCI Global SDG 9 Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure UCITS ETF aims to promote the ninth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 9). The focus is on building resilient infrastructure, promoting broad-based and sustainable industrialisation, and supporting innovation. The fund focuses on companies involved in topics such as alternative energy, clean transport infrastructure and industrial automation, among others.

The Xtrackers MSCI Global SDG 11 Sustainable Cities UCITS ETF tracks the eleventh Sustainability Development Goal, which is to improve living conditions in cities. This investment allows investors to participate in companies that provide smart solutions for urban infrastructure, such as energy-efficient housing, smart grids, or e-mobility.

The Xtrackers MSCI Global SDG 12 Circular Economy UCITS ETF focuses on the twelfth Sustainable Development Goal, which tracks sustainable consumption and production. The fund includes companies that drive innovation in resource efficiency and support the circular economy.

Only companies that are part of the MSCI ACWI IMI Index and have been classified as sustainable by MSCI Research will be considered.
