New crypto ETN from 21Shares on Xetra: diversified basket of crypto assets with staking rewards

Since Thursday, a new crypto ETN issued by 21Shares is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.

The 21Shares Staking Basket Index ETP tracks the performance of a basket of crypto assets with the validation mechanism proof-of-stake including resulting staking rewards.

In staking, the respective crypto assets are deposited on the blockchain for the validation of transactions. In return, a reward is paid out in the corresponding crypto asset. All crypto assets in the portfolio are used for staking, so that investors can participate not only in the performance of the crypto assets but also in the respective staking rewards, 

The portfolio is currently composed of the following crypto assets: Binance Coin, Cardano, Cosmos, Polkadot, Solana and Tezos.

All crypto-ETNs tradable on Xetra are physically collateralised and listed on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In addition, all crypto ETNs on Xetra are centrally cleared by Eurex Clearing AG as the central counterparty (CCP) of Deutsche Börse Group. Through central clearing, institutional investors additionally benefit from significantly reduced risks when settling transactions.
