New bond ETF from iShares on Xetra: access to high-yield corporate bonds with currency hedging

A new exchange-traded fund issued by iShares has been tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt since Thursday.

With the iShares Broad USD High Yield Corp Bond UCITS ETF EUR Hedged, investors can participate in a portfolio of fixed-income corporate bonds denominated in US dollars with a rating classification below investment grade.

Only bonds with risk exposure to FX-G10 countries or US and Western European territories that have been issued in the domestic US market will be considered. G10 currencies are defined as a group of currencies that are among the most widely used and traded currencies in the world.

The minimum residual maturity is at least one year. The weighting of an issuer is limited to two per cent. In addition, the bond ETF is a currency-hedged share class in which the effects of exchange rate fluctuations are minimised.
