Deutsche Börse welcomes Hashdex as new Crypto ETN issuer on Xetra Basket ETN enables diversified investment in crypto assets

Since Thursday, Hashdex's first crypto ETN is tradable on Xetra and via Börse Frankfurt.

The Hashdex Nasdaq Crypto Index Europe ETN enables investors to participate in the performance of a basket of cryptocurrencies. In addition to the largest and most liquid digital assets Bitcoin and Ethereum, this currently also includes the cryptocurrencies Avalanche, Cardano, Litecoin, Solana, Polkadot and Polygon.

The product is physically collateralised by the digital assets and is centrally cleared via Eurex Clearing.

The crypto ETN segment now comprises 88 products from thirteen providers on a total of 20 individual cryptocurrencies as well as on eight crypto indices. All crypto-ETNs tradable on Xetra are physically collateralised and listed on the Regulated Market of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. In addition, all crypto ETNs on Xetra are centrally cleared by Eurex Clearing AG as the central counterparty (CCP) of Deutsche Börse Group. Through central clearing, institutional investors additionally benefit from significantly reduced risks when settling transactions.  

The product offering in Deutsche Börse's XTF segment currently comprises a total of 1,933 ETFs and 383 ETPs. With this selection and an average monthly trading volume of around €19 billion, Xetra is the leading trading venue for ETFs in Europe.
